The members of the NHS Drama Department have been busy preparing for opening night of this year’s one act play “No Time for Sergeants.”
The past five weeks have been dedicated to rehearsing for the show. Cast and crew members have been spending at least three days a week in after school rehearsals.
The Drama Department as a whole has been involved and has contributed to the play and its production.
“We’re making a lot of the props and costumes,” Bob Ramseur, NHS Drama Director, said. “A lot done by students. They’re doing the building.”
This level of student involvement is one of the essential characteristics of the NHS Drama Department.
“No Time for Sergeants” is a two act play with a cast of three women and twenty-two men. The play stars Jordan Adams as Will Stockdale, Brayden Stinchcomb as Ben Whitledge, and JT Queener as Sergeant King. Audience members can expect to enjoy “good family comedy.”
“No Time for Sergeants” will open October 1, 2015, with a second showing on the third.
